A new CDS 4000 Conference Discussion System installation in Iran
Cimatech, the DIS distributor in Iran removed an old conference system of Provincial Government of Kerman and replaced it with a CDS 4000 system. They also installed automatic camera control and LCD monitors on the conference table for each delegate. To manage conferences they installed the SW 4210 software.

DIS held DCS 6000 training for 25 dealers, and the attendance indicates a big interest in DIS products in Saudi-Arabia - due to touch screen and multi-language feature.

Finland held the EU Presidency
In the second half year of 2006 Finland held the EU presidency, which as usual ended in a large summit. Through this half year many meetings were held with participants from the 25 EU member states, Russia, US and other invited countries. Many languages and interpreters have been involved to ensure good communication.
Our Finnish distributor Suomen Kongressitekniikka OY delivered all the DIS conference and interpretation equipment for the various meetings.
In 2006 Finland has also successfully hosted the tenth ASEM meeting with participants from both Asian and European governments. Again Suomen Kongressitekniikka OY supplied the DIS conference and interpretation equipment. |

United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Director-General Koichiro Matsuura opened the three-day Leaders Forum at the Fiesta Pavilion of the historic landmark Manila Hotel.
It is the first time in the 58-year history of the ITI that the World Congress was held in Southeast Asia, and Microdata provided DIS equipment for all delegates.

Kaunas City Hall on the Front Page
Audiotonas, Lithuania has made a very nice DIS installation consisting of portable DCS 6000 microphones with built-in channel selectors, customised voting units and simultaneous interpretation equipment including Infrared language distribution - all handled by the SW 6000 Conference Management System. It was completed by September and on the front page of Installation Europe in December!
