DIS at First Mekong Health Congress 2010.  
 


 

        Over 1,500 participants from the Mekong Delta Region and other nationals were gathered January 25-28th in the Laotian Capital Vientiane at the International Cooperation and Training Center (ICTC) to discuss and share knowledge and sanitary practices adapted to realities of Southeast Asia at the Congrès Mékong Santé.

        The 4 day congress focused on sanitary policies, quality of treatment and proposed innovative methods of organisation and coverage of emergencies. Experts and students of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, midwifery and paramedical technicians exchanged ideas and knowledge in various sessions and workshops. DIS rental partner BICS 2000 brought 800 DIS Infrared language distribution sets to interpret into 3 languages (Lao, French and English) needed to make this a success.

        The conference was an achievement for the participants and was a good opportunity for both BICS and DIS to grow in the Laos People’s Democratic Republic stated Kim Muurholm Jürgensen, DIS area sales manager.
