Since January 2011 Informationsteknik have been heavily involved in the preparations for the 125th IPU General Assembly, taking place in Berne October 2011. After having presented their preliminary offer Informationsteknik involvement has been greatly expanded, to include creating meeting rooms within the great exhibition centre BERN expo.

“The job has shifted from us being a large technical partner, into us being a sort of overall conference solutions provider. We’ve even been asked to submit proposals for printed signage solutions and an overall visual identity for the event, on top of doing all the technical planning. Needless to say we’re very proud of the confidence that the IPU local organizing committee is having in us” says Nalle Vikström, one of the project managers.

The event will start on the 14th of October and will be visited by more than 5000 delegates during its six days of running.
